Neroli is distilled from the blossom of the bitter orange tree, and it takes an enormous quantity of flowers to produce a small amount of oil — which is why it is costly. Its speciality is regenerative: neroli encourages the turnover of skin cells and improves elasticity, which makes it the oil for skin that has become thin, fragile or scarred.
On feet that matters most for older skin. Skin thins with age, loses elasticity, and cracks more readily; neroli works on the underlying quality of the skin rather than just adding moisture on top.
It is also markedly calming, and gentle enough for sensitive skin that reacts to most things.
